Improving the treatment and management of Australians with health challenges, and enhancing the community's wellbeing is directly in line with DB Results' corporate objectives. So we have taken action to make these things happen.
DB Results has developed several memorandums of understanding (MOU) with a range of primary and allied health organisations, supporting the treatment and management of chronic and acute health conditions. These include Hepatitis-C, diabetes, prostate and colon cancers, and a range of other ailments and syndromes.
In a collaborative partnership with GPs and specialists, medical services providers, university and research organisations, and peak industry bodies, DB Results is actively developing new technology solutions to old difficult problems.
Our innovative approach to monitoring and treating chronic health conditions has assisted our partners in GESSIT to realise their desire to reach out to patients suffering from Hepatitis-C. In concert with the Commonwealth Health Department's BPS medication listing of drugs to treat Hep-C the new HealthELink application is targeted at the eradication of Hep-C within Australia by 2030.
In close collaboration with the Australian Prostate Centre we are investigating migrating their education and outreach application onto a highly scaled, "any device" platform to allow suffers and their families timely access to information and up-to-date research on one of Australia's silent killers.
To ensure that the solutions we are creating within the health arena are highly secure and lead the world in privacy and information protection, we plan to establish a team with RMIT University's Blockchain Innovation Hub to develop cutting edge cybersecurity and enhanced encryption technology.
DB Results' Health Sector activities are a continuation of initiatives begun several years ago.
Today, these initiatives are resulting in real, tangible facilities that patients, doctors, specialists and allied health care providers can use to meet the growing challenges of treatment delivery in a complicated world.
